GitHouse is a small project I built to make GitHub activity a little more fun and personal. I wanted to create something that could take a developer's GitHub activity and turn it into a visual representation instead of just showing numbers, graphs, and contribution statistics.

So I built a web app where you enter a GitHub username and get a virtual house based on their activity. The house grows through different stages, from a small cabin to larger and more advanced buildings as the developer's contributions, consistency, and open source activity increase. It also includes badges and stats to give the profile a simple way to show progress.

The project works without a database or account system. It fetches GitHub data, generates the house in real time, and lets you share or embed the result directly.

I mainly built this as a fun side project to experiment with GitHub's data and turn something developers normally see as statistics into something more visual and interesting.
